Bitters for Better Days Workshop

There’s lots to feel bitter about these days- don’t let your digestive health be one of them, if you can help it!
Join local herbalist Erica Fraser for a deep dive on the benefits of bitter herbs and foods for digestion and overall wellbeing. Spoiler alert: she is on team dandelion, and will be encouraging you to focus less on eradicating them, and more on consuming them!

In this two-hour session, we’ll taste different bitter herbal preparations while discussing the details of what plants contain bitterness, how we perceive the bitter flavour, and what happens throughout the body when we do. We’ll go for a short walk and taste some wild greens around Butterfly Lodge, leaving you feeling refreshed and empowered to take the next step in reclaiming your sense of wellbeing through the simple practice of bringing bitters into your day-to-day.
