Workshops & Events

This spring we embarked on a new adventure here at Twisted Roots, building a space in our forest to host various workshops and events. This building is a covered screened deck overlooking the brook set in the beautiful mixed Acadian forest that we are blessed to call home. Butterfly Lodge, as we like to call her, is 28 x 24 feet in size and can accommodate some unique offerings here at the farm and in the forest.
So far this year, we have offered some exciting workshops and classes such as Learn to Brew your own Kombucha, Making Fire Cider, and an Iyengar Yoga Class. All were an amazing success in this space and it has inspired us to extend our season to create more workshops and events this fall. As the temperatures begin cooling off, we have added some vinyl panels to the screened sections along with some heaters to extend our season.
We have some exciting new workshops being offered this fall, including Evergreen Wreaths and Soapmaking Workshops!
