Workshops & Events

In the spring of 2025, we were blessed to initiate the building of a very special structure here at Twisted Roots Farm.  An amazing site nestled in the forest overlooking a magical brook, a beautiful gathering space lovingly named Butterfly Lodge.  This building is an integral part of the continued manifestation of the dream of this land to become a place of refuge, a sanctuary, a pocket of cultural and ecological re-membering.

 

With much hard work and some key help from those who found their way to our little homestead in the woods, we were able to open Butterfly Lodge on September 1st, 2025.  Although our plan had been to have her completed for June 1st, we are so incredibly grateful to those who supported us this fall by attending one of our many workshops despite the cooler temperatures.  These incredible folks showed us what is possible, and the beauty this space has to offer.

 

As we prepare for winter, we find ourselves on the threshold of a transition for us in how we will generate an economy for this place and how we bring people to experience the homestead and forest here at Twisted Roots Farm.  The programs, or immersions as we like to call them, that we are designing for 2026 incorporate these experiential opportunities as a way of learning.  At the core, what we are offering are opportunities to deepen our relationships with food and nature.

Over the month of December, we will be posting more about programs, events and workshops that we will be offering for the 2026 season with opportunities to begin booking by January 1st of 2026.
